“I saw the interesting Cardo BK-1 intercom system at Sea Otter this past year, and was highly intrigued to test and review one here in the mountains of Colorado…I found the whole thing surprisingly enlivening, making rides fun and different, and it was especially useful when riding with my kids.”

“I found the BK-1 quite useful for having simple conversations or to check on something with your compatriot while riding on singletrack, especially when it was windy or the trail caused background noise (rough). I never had to raise my voice or yell to be heard, like it can sometimes happen on a ride, which was nice when you are winded or panting, i.e., sucking wind.”

“All in, I really like the Bk-1. While I normally train solo, it’s an amazing on-bike music and bluetooth headset device and when I have the opportunity to go for a social ride, it’s super-nice to have easy bike to bike communications. By far, the BK-1 is the leader in this space today with a solid product launch and a long history of radio communications…”

“After a week of using the BK-1 I've put about 150 miles on the unit with only one charge. Overall I'm pretty impressed…The best part was being able to alert the other rider to safety concerns (cars, holes, etc) quickly and much more effectively than yelling over your shoulder or pointing at the ground.”
